What makes the Light Spring type different from other Springs? The defining characteristic of the Light Spring is lightness. Its colors are light, fresh, and airy, making it the palest of the Spring palettes. While still warm, Light Spring is less warm than the Warm Spring, because lightness is its primary feature. Compared to the Bright Spring, the defining factors are lower contrast and softer intensity, as the colors are lighter, less saturated, and more delicate rather than vivid and bold.

Light Spring and Light Summer are both characterized by light coloring, but they differ in undertone and brightness.

• Light Spring is warm, fresh, and bright, thriving in clear, light colors such as peach, coral, butter yellow, mint, and light turquoise green.
• Light Summer is cool, soft, and delicate, looking best in muted pastel shades like powder blue, soft lavender, baby pink, and cool grey.
